HV RBERN Workshops and Career Opportunities

Due to popular demand, we're pleased to offer another session of the 4-day series: Writing Is Thinking (WIT) 101 for ENL; this time at Rockland BOCES. Writing Is Thinking through strategic inquiry (WITsi) is an approach to delivering direct instruction in writing strategies that leverage improved writing, oral language, content knowledge, and reading comprehension simultaneously to English Language Learners. They will learn how the English language works. Participants can expect to leave each session with activities for immediate classroom use that will yield improved writing, language and thinking. This series is ideal for school/district teams. Participation in this series requires a commitment to all four dates.

The series dates are as follows:

Day 2: April 29, 2019
Day 3: May 7, 2019
